The goal is to develop academic achievements which implements and create supporting roles that classify or display life skills. The facilitators help with instructional teaching experience such resumes, instructional aptitudes, leadership and organizational skills.

Technology Tools

According to our text, “when faculty train faculty, there is likely to be an increased level of trust, credibility, and appreciation for their teaching abilities and instructional design skills.” Identifying technology platforms that incorporate all cultural backgrounds is important to ensure each learner is receiving the quality level of education.

Integrating the right technology can also help instructors collect data on learners and determine what information is being retained versus other avenues of lesson delivery.

In the Classroom

We are all shaped by our experiences. No amount of textbook-learning can replace the wisdom, clarity, and knowledge that are drawn from experiences. This is ascertained by Experiential Learning Theory (David A. Kolb, 1984) that explains how the very principle of adult learning is to derive meaning out of experiences.

4 Ways to Design Experiential-based eLearning
  • Go beyond traditional training with online simulations
  • Create opportunities for reflection with scenarios in eLearning
  • Leverage the power of shared learning with social learning
  • Allow experiential learning by exploring with gamification
